So, this is what I wore...
I love a good vintage shop, I took a trip to COW in Manchester (at Piccadilly bus station) and found this cool checked shirt, with cut off sleeves which was long enough to use as a dress. Looks like an old one my dad may have worn (which is all the range these days, isn't it?!). I found the tie dye effect on this one interesting (I'm guessing it had been done with bleach to take the colour out). The thing I like about vintage shops is everything in there is different and individual, you could literally spend hours looking!! .. Oh and this shirt was £16, which isn't too bad.
I wore the shirt buttoned up to the too, and layered a few necklaces over it. I found some cool cheap ones from Primark and an old one I've had for ages!
Okay, so I bought some new boots especially for Mint Fest. They are military style, from H&M, £25.. And I'm going to be wearing them throughout the autumn/winter they would look cool with some skinny jeans or with a little day dress and tights). I wore them with some grey long socks, pulled up just above the boot.
(Pictured after the festival, hence why a little dirty!!)
And lastly, you can't go to a festival without wearing sunglasses, can you?? And the sun was actually shining, so I took full advance.. And wore my absolute favourite sunglasses of mine which I picked up from a vintage shop earlier this year. I was wearing a lot of the round framed sunglasses this summer... But how cool are the heart lenses on these ones!
I got a few more pictures from the day of me and friends..
